Its just there the time when Pakistani all over the world celebrate Independence day. Everyone seems to be all cheered up, and overwhelmed with the day to cheer the good riddance of British rule over the Indo-Pak region.
But to others it may seem pretty exciting but independence has no meaning as long as the people collectively constituting a nation are enlightened enough to understand the importance of freedom, and being the outgrown version of insanity. There have been many efforts to provide hope to the nation and on many scales either national or international but the nation was never united to work together as one unit until or unless there was a tragic happening causing loss on a very huge scale.
Living the lives of penitence, the national leaders and politicians tend to mislead government with yet again new promises. On the other hand, thanks to the growth of media, youth has very much got into the development of media, literature and in the name of peace, expressing their message in the form of words rather than set off for constructive action. We have to understand that the interest of youth area has been extremely disarrayed with media as they are more interested for the charm and name earned for their effort, than the effort itself. A national song, attending national parade or celebration over the independence day would not at all turn the fate of the country from black to white. It would eventually be the unity of the nation in not creating the excuses for disagreement and learn to accept people in the society and move on together as a nation.
Enough of my random thoughts on dysfunctionality, I see in our nation, but lets hope in the later years youth will grow over this thing to learn what it means to stand united.
PS- With all my words, people may confuse that I am advocating anarchy, which I am not. To be precise I am extremely disappointed to see people finding yet another day to cheer about, ignoring the cause but remembering that they got a day for them to brag about how dysfunctional the nation is, right now.
